Maiuri wrote that this was the doorway to a long corridor/fauces leading to the living quarters of the owner of the Pistrinum in the south side street.

According to Guidobaldi, this albergo (inn/hotel) with a graffito of the rare Silentiolus, which was similarly attested in a Hospitium V.2.4 at Pompeii.
Perhaps connected with the bakery at Ins. Or II.1a.
